Ready to nail your About & Start Here pages? (Workshop spots open 🥳 )
Plus a guide to stellar welcome pages when you register...
Hey there,
Remember last week when 72% of you said you wanted clarity on the difference between Start Here and About pages?
Well, I've been working on something to help solve this...
The workshop you asked for is happening on Sunday, December 15th!
🥳 And when you register, you'll also get my guide, "Stellar Substack Welcome Pages," - with detailed notes on what makes each one work.
After reviewing 25+ About and Start Here posts (and years of writing these pages for authors), I've put together a focused session to help you nail both pages.
Here's what we'll cover in our hour together:
🔎 Simple guidelines to make each page serve its purpose
🔎 A clear map of what belongs where (and why)
🔎 Real examples from Substacks who've got it right
🔎 Step-by-step plan to get your pages ready for 2025
- Sunday, December 15th
- 12pm - 1pm CST
- $47 (🥳 includes workshop replay with an awesome digital guide of examples)
- Live on Zoom
Can't make it live?
No problem - you'll still get the workshop replay and the digital guide to review at your convenience.
Remember, if you're among the folks who replied "WORKSHOP" last week, this is your chance to grab your spot before I share it more widely.
Looking forward to solving this together!
P.S. Not sure if this is right for you?
Hit reply with any questions. I'm happy to help you decide if this is the right time to focus on these pages.
Uh, well, I understand what goes where, in the case of a "hero" or "Start Here" page, vs an "About" page. (I know I haven't done the best with mine, but it's just a placeholder while I get up to speed.)
I'm more interested in finding out if there's a way to have blogs on several topics, where only one topic or blog is behind a paywall.
Does that require at least two Substack accounts?
Or is there a way to do that with my one Substack?
I've played with it, and I can't see how it's possible with just one account.
And, if that's true, how would I separate the two accounts, yet still have them linked together?
The idea is that I want to have the "various topics" available for free, but then have one topic requiring paid subscribers. Got it?
Right now, I've figured out how to separate the topics, but the paywall is All-Or-None.
(I wish Substack had actual support! The AI doesn't understand what I'm asking!)
Thanks!
Let me be the first to say I'm super excited to show up for this! I feel like I have it together but I still want to know for sure if I do. Marked on my calendar!
