Thanks for the virtual hug, Jen, and backatcha! I'm glad you're enjoying A Breath Well Taken. Breathwork and resilience coaching can be serious stuff, so I wanted to find a way to show people that taking care of yourself can be fun and lighthearted, too.

Yep, I'd agree and say that fun, laughter and lightheartedness are absolutely critical for your health!

Just installed OneTab! Wow, as someone who builds up things to read and lets then fester this is going to revolutionise my process. Great list of steps to consider as part of the daily practice.

Alex! Isn't it a game changer? I was so excited the first time someone introduced me to it too. So happy 😀 to pass it on. And thanks for the restack so more people will find it. 🙏🏻

Good to share these habits & tools far & wide. Hope to see you in a Thursday chat thread. 🧵

My favorite line in your missive today is, “Consider it a literary hug” , I felt a deep sigh in my body when I read that allowing any feelings of ‘on edge’ to melt. I really appreciate the practices you suggested they’re so grounding and easy to do. What a sweet surprise that you mentioned my breathwork circles, thank you for that.🙏🏼

I'm glad you liked that line. And I hope someone tries your breath work circles! The best way to ground and care for yourself.

Practice, practice, practice.....conscious and consistent. When writing earlier this morning I thought about a metronome for some odd, unexplained reason. Keeping time for and with the music.....?

My piano teacher had one sitting on top of her piano which on occasion she turned on to either get me in time or keep me in time. Or, the image of of an hour glass with time running out or away. is there a week glass or month glass without a calendar. Oh, the random firing of thoughts you have unleashed with my own need to focus on fewer thoughts and snag one or two worth exploring further. Will try and make the Thursday chat, thanks.

So interesting. Maybe the metronome helps you keep an internal rhythm. Hope to see you Thursday!
